I checked out @captainscafeteria.ng a relatively new spot in Lekki. They have beautiful and lovely interior with lovely artworks. I love their table setting; every table has a game set and a book. It’s also a quiet space to get some work done.

They have a really wide menu comprising of both breakfast, lunch and dessert options. They also have freshly baked bread, pastries, smoothies, cocktails and much more. I got the Brioche et Ewa Agonyin and a bottle of Water. The name caught my attention and I was eager to see how it would be presented. The beans was well cooked but the sauce wasn’t tasty. I’ll rate it a 5/10. It could have been better. I enjoyed the Ewa better with bread, and the Brioche was very fresh, buttery and crispy. The fried plantains were very tasty; I mean it’s plantain, I loved it. I’ll be visiting again to try something else on their menu.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

Overall, I didn’t very much enjoy the Ewa and sauce. It could really use a little more spice. The customer service was good. The waitress that attended to me was friendly and nice. I’ll visit again to try maybe a lunch option or dessert and see how it goes.
