I decided to wrap up the ₦5,000 for 3 meals challenge by visiting cheap spots in Victoria Island where I carefully and creatively spent my resources to ensure no one is left behind and no territory is left unvisited. Welcome to the final round of my inexpensive meals adventure in Victoria Island, Lagos.
I started with Pie Express and got 2 sausage rolls and a bottle of fanta for ₦750, the sausage rolls were fresh and the filling in the flour was all the way, I would have spoken about the Fanta, but we all know the taste of that. To the next cheap spot.
I tried the meal from Black Bell, it was a pack of Jollof rice and beef. The rice tasted like firewood rice, but something was a bit too sharp in the seasoning. I had thought it was curry until I had another spoon and figured it was ginger. I felt like the beef was a bit too tiny and my head kept thinking how huge it would have been if this was a restaurant on the mainland.

Overall, it was worth it.
I was getting clueless on where to get the next inexpensive meal in Victoria Island until I remembered the TFC refuel pack and decided to check if they have a branch in VI offering that. I had to complete my inexpensive meals from 3 Spots adventure. I got the refuel meal, and the taste of the moin-moin in it was amazing. I spent ₦1,450 here. My cheap spots adventure in VI left me with ₦150 change, maybe I will do give away.
