Secret Dining- Our Tenth Anniversary Party

I had the idea that Foodie in Lagos Tenth Anniversary would be so beautiful, but what I didn’t consider was how much joy it would bring to my heart and the love I would feel and receive from everyone who was present – Tai.

WHEN WAS THE TENTH ANNIVERSARY?

If you haven’t read our ‘how we started’ anniversary post, this is for you. FIL’s 10th anniversary was on the 19th of March, 2023, but we ended up celebrating it a week later which was the 26th of March,2023.

WHERE WAS IT CELEBRATED?

This is supposed to be a secret but I will tell you, lol. It was at 343 Degree North. It sounds just like I intended, like a secret hideout 😂.

HOW WAS IT CELEBRATED?

Let me say it was some sort of progress that was built up. I started by sending out emails and creating awareness about dining with our audience. It was limited space so we could only have 15 people in attendance. I called the event “Secret Dining”, it was 15 of us, staff inclusive, and people who won the giveaway. As expected, we ate 😂, played some really cute games, and had so much cake (Tai loved cakes). We had the menu placed on the table and we gave out gift bags. We even caught the last comers in 3D here.

HOW DID IT FEEL?

It felt so good. It was good to hear from people how FIL has helped them find suitable places to dine. I have this smile from the bottom of my heart every time I remember the beautiful remarks

WHAT IS YOUR TAKE HOME?

If there’s anything that strikes me, it’s to keep going at it. You just can never tell who is watching. The dining has built my drive a bit more. It is time to keep going.
