Some of the Best Healthy Nigerian Cereals to Eat
Deciding what to have for breakfast could be a tough thing to do, so most people settle for cereal. But with that, it could still be tough to decide which cereal to have as new products are being released into the market almost every day. If you are in Nigeria, some of the best cereal products to settle for are Kellogg, Post, or Quaker’s Oat, we have listed in this article some other products to have if you can’t access these.
QUAKER’S OATS: We would all agree that this oat is the best for breakfast. If you’ve ever had it, you can testify to the smooth, satisfying taste and how filling it can be. We recommend it. You should try a method different from the conventional way; add fruits to the next plate you take.
CORNFLAKES: Kellogg and Post have the best cornflakes. Post has a diversity of flavors; they have cornflakes with almonds and nuts, honey roasted, and pecans. Certainly, it is healthy and the best.
GRANOLA: The good thing is granola comes in a bar and cereal box; it has rolled oats, nuts, coconut oil, a sweetener like honey, brown sugar, etc. It is similar to oats but crunchy. You could never go wrong with this; you can take it with yogurts or berries. It is not a Nigerian-made product, but you will find it in the store, and you can make your version if you find the time.
CUSTARD/PAP: This is a great cereal to have as it is made from corn flour; the new 3 in 1 custard is to die for; all you need is hot water, and it has milk and sugar in it. If you are not big on custard, try pap; it works the same way, just add some milk and sugar to enjoy it better.
GOLDEN MORN: This sure comes in handy, especially if you have kids, it is fast mix and healthy.
