Indomie Cafe Lagos
While going about my business and errands today, I was looking for somewhere that was quiet and decent enough to have a quick meeting and then I saw ‘Indomie Cafe’. I had been at some presentation that disclosed this was in effect but had never actually seen one and thought it was just a concept. Thanks to curiosity, I went in and was quite pleased. Since Malaysia can have its own Indomie Branded Indomie Cafe IndoBowl serving all sorts of crazy Indomie combinations, I guess we also can have our own Indomie Cafe as anIndomie Noodles only Noodle bar.
The menu was not bad at all. Everything on it had to do with Indomie Noodles (as expected tbh) and the recipes were quite interesting. There was even one that was supposed to be like pancakes aka flattened Indomie noodles and all. They had different cooking stations reminding me of how Vapiano works for their pasta and then had on the wall, a meter showing the level of spicy for customers to choose from and trust indomie noodles, everything was on brand straight down to the napkins – love it. Suprisingly, the Indomie Cafe in Lagos opened up at the beginning of the year

The Space: Pretty, I liked it. Apparently, they are in 3 locations – Circle Mall Lekki, Adeniran Ogunsanya Mall in Surulere and Silverbird Galleria in Victoria Island
The Menu: All Indomie related as expected. Reasonably priced and I guess for the indomie lovers with an interesting palate. You won’t get these recipes at your local roadside noodles seller. See menu here
What Did I Have? Playing safe as usual (Lol). Had the Frizzled Eggs which in simpler terms is like a combination of Indomie and Egg sauce with extras of two chicken drumsticks (quite tasty). I decided to go with MarvelousMedium as the level of spicy/heat.
How Was it? Honestly! It was not bad. I actually liked it but can’t have Indomie noodles like this on a daily. I usually would make mine quite plain but this was a good twist and I think this is quite interesting from the Indomie Noodles brand. The pepper was a lot though (and I love pepper – Lol). The portion IS A LOT! I could not finish it! Must have been hungry man size Indomie or something
How Much: Indomie Frizzled Eggs –₦1,000, Chicken Drumsticks Extras –₦700 and a drink for ₦250 – Not too bad
Final Thoughts: Indomie Noodles is definitely a household fave and staple and it’s a brand most of us grew up with. Does not seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. Definitely a big plus for the super Indomie lovers. Quite sure that those who love concortion type food would love this. I think I saw on the IG page Indomie filled chocolate crepes! (Yuck!)

I really like their indomie meals. As you rightly said, they have the kind of twist you do not get at the local sides. It’s quite pricey tho. Indomie wey person go spend atleast 2k on top, ahh!!! But asides that, absolutely delicious!!!
Hahah I guess its not an everyday splurge! wink
