I stopped by at Abees Place for lunch and it was a really nice experience. Abees place is known for her great cocktails, grills and food trays. The spot wasn’t hard to locate – the location on google map will lead you right to it. Their ambiance is delightful and sure to bring a smile to your face. I appreciated their playful use of food puns, and I took my time to read each one as inscribed on the wall.

MEAL

Now to the meal, I ordered the Easy Box 2 which consisted of 1 Turkey, Sweet Potato Fries, 1 Sausage, 1 Roasted Plantain, Fried Plantains, and Signature Sauce. The Potato Fries were crispy. The roasted plantains were well prepared and the heat penetrated inside. The sauce was delicious and full of flavor with a delightful peppery kick that I thoroughly enjoyed. The turkey was exceptionally tender and well seasoned. It was incredibly delicious and undoubtedly the highlight of the meal for me.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

The wait time for the meal was over 30 mins. I didn’t expect it to that long, but the meal was worth it. The staff were polite which is always a plus. It was a good eat and I’ll definitely be visiting again.
