3A, Admiralty Road, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos | Phone | Instagram
I was curious when LABULE confidently talked about their food on one of my Instagram posts. So, I decided to check it out for myself, since I’m currently on an Amala tour. I went to their Lekki Phase 1 location, and guess what? I wasn’t disappointed.
MEAL
When it comes to Amala, Labule really knows what they’re doing. The Amala was super smooth, with no weird lumps at all. And they served it really hot, which made it even better. You could tell it was made fresh, and that’s important.
Now, let’s talk about the soups. Labule’s stew was a big surprise. It was spicy and delicious – way better than the one at Yakoyo, but there’s more! The Gbegiri soup was really tasty too. Just one thing, the amount they serve is a bit small. I’d say, go for more than one serving if you can.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
A dining experience isn’t solely about the food; the ambiance and interactions also play a pivotal role. Labule Lagos stood out in this regard as well. The staff exuded politeness and helpfulness, ensuring that we felt welcomed and well-attended to throughout their visit. When the staff is nice, it just makes you feel good.
There’s one thing, though – they charge extra for Ewedu and Gbegiri, and I honestly don’t understand why.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
My overall experience was great. The Amala, soups, and friendly service make Labule Lagos a top choice. They could make the soup portions a little bigger and rethink the extra charges, but overall, it’s a spot that amala lovers should totally check out.
