D’Mighty Coffee & Tea (Lekki, Lagos)

I found and visited a new restaurant in Lekki- D’Mighty Coffee and Tea restaurant. It was a cute space but uncoordinated. I think they are in their teething phase as a restaurant. Their menu had no details of the flavors of the drinks or milkshakes, and someone I suspected to be the owner kept suggesting that I try the ice cream; maybe that’s what they do best.
MEAL
I ordered Chinese Noodles with a milkshake. I wasn’t sure what the milkshake flavor was, but it tasted horrible and was served warm. I am convinced I was served a milk tea, not a milkshake. All I had was a sip, and I abandoned it. The noodles was served hot, but it was nothing spectacular. It was soggy and excess soy sauce was used in making it- It was just spaghetti, grinded pepper (atagungun) and water. It wasn’t a good sight; it was too plain. Some veggies on the side would have made it better. The beef slices were too tiny; I could have made something better if I made the meal myself.
DRINK
I tried the Café Affogato with coconut ice cream; it was my first time having it. I liked it, although the expresso/coffee was a bit too strong. I will give it a pass. This place is more of a coffee shop than a restaurant, in my opinion.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
It was fair. The waitress had a limited understanding of her job; all she did was served and cleared the table. Better training of staff and attention to customers might be a good starting point for them. They could also revisit their menu and have an understanding of what they are really offering to the public.
