Iyan Aladuke that didn’t have Iyan? Come on. You are probably asking how I got here; I was looking for somewhere affordable and cheerful on the mainland, then a friend suggested Iyan Aladake. I was excited I would get to try something different, but they had no Iyan; that’s really shocking. The space was almost desolate when I visited, but it was quite spacious.

MEAL

I ended up having rice and ofada sauce with ponmo, beef, and fuku. The food was really tasty, and the sauce was nice, but the fuku tasted like water. Asides from the little issue with the fuku, I enjoyed the meal.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

My experience was fair. I didn’t like that they didn’t have Iyan; I would be back to try the Iyan as it was what I wanted.
