Sabor Restaurant, (Victoria Island, Lagos)

Sabor is back. I visited the newly opened space in Victoria Island with a friend; it is a huge, beautiful space with a rustic ambience and a nice poolside. I liked the idea of the poolside; we need more of it in Lagos. Sabor’s menu hasn’t changed one bit.
The space was all the welcome-back vibes I needed. As always, the customer service was awesome.
MEAL
Starters
For starters, I had the Crab Fritters; it was very tasty and nicely done. I would try it again the next time I visit.
My friend had the Chicken Lollipop. It was okay; well seasoned with a nice aftertaste.
Main
I ordered the Rib Eye Steak and Mash Potatoes; the steak was medium, as I requested, but the mash was a bit too thick. It was a 6/10 for me; the steak was my consolation.
My friend had the Sweet and Spicy Salmon Fillet, it came with a generous amount of rice, and the sauce was so nice. I think it should be bottled and sold separately; that’s how good it was.
Drink – Peach Mule
This drink was good, and I enjoyed it. I will rate this a 7/10.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
There was no dessert available; I think it was because it was the first day they were open at the new spot. It is all good. I’ll rate my overall experience at the Sabor Restaurant an 8/10.
