Shores Restaurant (Ajah, Lagos)
Shores Hotel Km 18 Lekki – Epe Expy, Eti-Osa| Phone | Instagram
I hope the Islanders are ready because these updates cannot be missed. I stopped by Shores; it is a restaurant in a hotel around Ajah. When I got there, no one was at the counter. I automatically assumed the staff had gone to attend to lodgers. I did take note of the environment, as always; it was cozy, small, and well-lit.
MEAL
After waiting for a while, a waiter finally came and took my order. I wanted Spanish rice, but that wasn’t available, so I ordered Special Fried rice with Spicy chicken. My wait time was about 20-25 minutes, but I was pre-informed, so all I did was wait patiently. The special fried rice was basic. The waiter told me it was freshly prepared, but it didn’t taste like that. The rice was undercooked, and the chunks of chicken were just non-existent. The portion was also very small for the price. The chicken was just there, plain and nothing special. I stepped my meal down with chilled chivita, quite a consolation.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
There was nothing extraordinary about the experience, I mustn’t forget to mention how polite and welcoming the staff were. They tried their best but anyone would be able to tell Shores Restaurant is just a hotel with a restaurant that caters to its guest.
