I spotted this restaurant while driving by and decided to check it out because I figured it might be another cheap and good spot for my Ikoyi people. Their space is quite simple, old and looked deserted. To honest, I didn’t want to judge Yaqudi’s by its cover, but who paints a restaurant like a police station, come on!!!!

MEAL
Straight to the food, I got Rice and Stew with Fried Plantains, Egg and Assorted Meat. They were generous with the rice I must say, but my meal was cold. The stew was tasteless and had no flavor. The plantains were hard and stale. The meat has no spice or whatsoever. I think I understand why the space was deserted. Eating my meal felt like I was arrested, awful!!!
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
It was an underwhelming experience and I doubt I’ll be visiting again. The staff that attended to me had a nonchalant attitude. This place is a no-n0 and they really need to do better.
