I have certainly lost count of the number of days we have spent indoors due to the Corona Virus and got tired of ‘normal food’ hence why I tried my hands on some Stir Fry Beef Teriyaki homemade style. This stir fry beef teriyaki was such an easy recipe to follow and to prepare as long as you have all your ingredients on deck.
This recipe is a restaurant quality meal in the comfort of your own home so since we are missing ‘outside’ food, let’s make ours!
Stir fry is one of the quickest and easiest meal options around. It is versatile and could be healthy option as it is loaded with veggies as well which helps boost the immune system.
Here is what you will need:
Teriyaki Sauce | Stir Fry |
1 Tbsp soy sauce 3/4 Cups cold water 1/3 Cup sugar 1 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp granulated garlic (or garlic powder) 1 1/2 Tablespoon honey 1 tsp sesame oil/oil of choice really 2 Tbsp corn-starch | 2 Tbsp olive oil 1 red bell pepper, (sliced into thin strips) 1 green bell pepper (sliced strips) 1 Tbsp garlic, minced 1 medium onion, sliced 1 cup snap peas 2-3 Tbsp water Thinly cut beef strips |
You can use your choice of veggies in your stir fry such as broccoli, peas etc. Key: Tbsp – Table spoon, Tsp – Teaspoon |

If you choose not to make your Teriyaki Sauce from scratch, you can buy a bottled one and heat up or use Hoisin Sauce (a bit saltier) or Oyster sauce as Teriyaki sauce (sweeter) is a thicker type of sauce. You can enjoy this sauce with Rice or Noodles.
