Butter cookies are made from sugar, flour, butter, and vanilla flavor syrup or extract. You can make them in any desired shape, the fun is when you have them in Christmas shapes with Christmas frosting toppings.

Shortbread cookies are made from the same ingredients as butter cookies, but with more butter and without any leavening. Shortbreads are excellent cookies to have for dessert; they go perfectly well with milk.
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Chocolate Chip Cookies are the oldest, most recognized cookies after butter cookies. They are made in flat round shapes with chocolate bits as toppings, crispy outside and creamy on the inside. Most people melt chocolate and add it to the mix as fillers, yogurt is a perfect fit with these cookies. You should have some this festive season; try many options. Try chocolate chips with hazelnut, chocolate chip cookies with almonds, etc.
Peanut Butter Cookies
These cookies are best made with unsalted butter, melted peanut butter, and white sugar. You could even make them gluten-free.
Oatmeal Cookies
When you want to get the best oatmeal cookies, make sure there aren’t too many oats in the mix. Little oats and the right of amount of brown sugar make excellent oatmeal cookies. You can pair it with some chocolate milk.
Double Chocolate Cookies
Double choco cookies are the brownies version of cookies; they go perfectly well with a hot chocolate drink or warm milk. These type of cookies are perfect as dessert for any holiday.
