The Harvest Lekki Lagos
The Harvest
Block 26 Plot 10 Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1
The Harvest Lagos is one of the new restaurants to hit Lekki this year. The Harvest is actually on the ground floor in a block of apartments called The Bridge and has a fancy door that has caught the attention of most bloggers and ‘influencers’ on the gram. My sister and I decided to catch up and have lunch at the Harvest and see if it was really worth it or if it was just hype
The Harvest Lagos Menu is very straight to the point and is just one page – talk about a focused space – the full menu is available here. Since the sis and I were hungry, there was no need for starters and we went straight into it
I had the Lamb Chops while Sis had the Seafood Pasta
The Lamb Chops were tasty but quite tough to cut and chew on, however, the portion is really generous. Another thing about having to eat tough meat especially with crazy teeth like mine, was the absence of a steak knife so cutting through was a war really on top meat? BUT it was mad tasty and full of flavour but could have been more tender and this may be attributable to it being locally sourced meat even though it is quite high priced. The plating is also quite scattered.
The Seafood Pasta was not too bad. It was also spicy and had a few prawns here and there – which is not enough to call it a ‘seafood pasta’ since it had no variety of seafood. I have had better SeaFood Pasta (like the one at Kravings) but it was alright.
For the Drinks, the Purple Haze is a really strong drink to have at lunch (haha). The Pine & Ginger, however, is so me! I love pretty much anything with ginger in it. To my surprise, the Pineapple was too strong for this combination and did not have enough ginger
I like the vibe here but the staff were not paying attention as we struggled to get them to give us napkins and water and took so long. The receipt was also written manually on a paper which is side-eye worthy. The purple haze was really strong too but I guess that is our own fault – lol
There is a lot of outdoor seating as well and a pool area which is shaded. The menu is so straightforward which I love and you can view the menu here
Will I be back? Sure
