So we started doing some mini food themed events recently and while venue scouting for one of such events, I and some friends checked HUA Han out. HUA Han is an authentic Korean Restaurant in Lagos and there was no way we were leaving without trying out the Korean BBQ.
Korean BBQ is essentially grilling your food yourself using in-built gills in the dining table itself. I am not sure there are any other authentic Korean BBQ places in Lagos (if you know others, do give me a shout)

HUA Han has both Chinese and Korean menus and thankfully has translations in English. The menu is so LONG!!!! I tried to take some to add to our menu database but I got tired because the menu is quite a lot plus one of the waiters told me it was not allowed.
The décor here is quite Asian and anyhow (I don’t know how else to explain) but it’s no different from what you would see in proper Chinese/Korean spots. At least when I was in Prague recently, the décor at these Asian places looked exactly like what is at Hua Han.
WHAT DID WE EAT
Documenting what we ate was so hard but here you go and in no particular order:
- Fried Noodles With Assorted Meat
- Spicy Cabbage and Pork
- Special Korean Beef
- Fried Rice
- Baked Steam Bread
- Roast Ink Bucket
- Fried noodle with assorted meat medium

Out of everything we had, the squids or was it calamari was not fantastic. I mean its seafood and its not as flavourful as beef or chicken. The bread was also quite yummy and when toasted slightly on the grill was even better.
The food was so tasty though – can’t even lie about that and if Hua Han was closer in terms of proximity, it would definitely be a regular for me
THE KOREAN BBQ LAGOS EXPERIENCE
It was a first for me and was totally fun to do. Our waiter on the other hand was quite the grumpy one. Infact, all of the staff that day were just funny so if you do go here, just ignore their faces and enjoy your food
HUA Han is definitely somewhere you should visit for that authentic Korean BBQ experience in Lagos

You should just leave your damage here and let us know exactly what you bought for that price, the menu thing doesn’t work your link doesn’t send directly to the restaurant and it still doesn’t say what you bought or your recommendations because I can’t see the price. This is too tedious

Hey Morenike. For some reason I can’t remember if they had Korean drinks but I should think they would have. I have their menu up on this link http://foodieinlagos.com/lagos-restaurant-menus/ but it was so extensive that I captured the essentials. Perhaps give them a call to ask for additional comfort before dining there? Do let us know how it goes if you do try it out.
