I stopped by Kos Restaurant, Lagos and believe me, I had a wonderful experience. The space was easy to locate. I loved how it was calm and lovely. The spot had a mix of African décor and other touches, which I found really beautiful. The lighting in most areas isn’t very great, so you’ll have to strategically position yourself to get quality pictures – for my picture lovers. This spot is good for casual dates and hangouts. It’s serene, and private, and they have board games to keep their customers busy. There’s a club/lounge upstairs, but it wasn’t open when I visited. I guess I was a bit too early for the club fun.
MEAL
They have a variety of meals including local dishes, and it took me a minute to decide what to get. I thought to try a meal other than rice and pasta, so I had their boiled yam, egg sauce, and beef. I can be somewhat hard to impress when it comes to egg sauce, but this one hit and didn’t miss! The egg sauce was really delicious and the beef was super tasty. For the amount spent, I consider the portion generous and the taste worthy, it would be audacious to demand more.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
I totally enjoyed my meal with a smile on my face. The staff were polite and friendly which is always a plus. The goal is to visit again and try some other meal options.
