Oiza Salad Maestro, (Victoria Island, Lagos)
Food Corner Supermarket, Adeola Odeku, VI. | Phone | Instagram
Oiza Salad Maestro is a perfect spot for a quiet morning and a great head start. There is a branch in Victoria Island, Lagos, and Abuja. I visited the VI branch; it is a small space with just a few seats available for eat-in. The space gets really bright because the spot is close to the road and the windows are transparent. This may discourage you from eating in, but for me, it was fine.
MEAL
SALAD: I had the Buj Salad, and it was a delight. It came in fresh and was very delicious. The buttermilk chicken fillet was very tasty, and the mayo dressing complimented it perfectly.
SANDWICH: I also tried the beef Worcestershire sandwich, whoosh, it was very yummy. Appears to me like they know how to do everything here. The sandwich came as a double-layered pair – the bread was finely toasted, and the cheese was very ‘cheesy’. It was so filling; I could only finish one slice.
DRINK
The green bliss smoothie was really thick and warm. I was prepared to be disappointed, but the taste was perfect. It had ginger in it, even though it wasn’t stated in the menu description, but tasted fine.
Overall Experience
I like that the place was quiet. The inside has a wooden feel to it which was consistent with the eco-friendly packaging of the Restaurant, the little garden aesthetics outside was just great. The food was also fresh. I love it. It was great. I am definitely spreading the news.
FOODIE IN LAGOS RATING: 9/10
