Located in the heart of Lekki, Bodega Emporium is a specialty shop and café currently in its test run phase. I’ve stopped by this spot before, but it was during their launch and they weren’t very organized. I’m expectant especially now that I’m going as a paying customer. They have a very cozy, relaxing and colorful space. They also have a comfortable workspace with free Wi-Fi, so you could also get some work done.

Similar to specialty shops that specialize in gourmet foods or handmade crafts, Bodega Emporium offers a unique selection of culinary delights and cozy ambiance for patrons to enjoy. As I settled into my visit at Bodega Emporium, I enjoyed a basket of freshly baked bread and whipped butter. The bread was warm and paired with the smooth and creamy whipped butter, it was so perfect. I couldn’t resist trying their blueberry buttermilk pancakes (help pray for my waistline). The pancakes were so fluffy and just sweet enough, making every bite delicious. With crispy bacon, whipped cream, and lots of blueberry compote, it was an amazing combo that I enjoyed. To complement my meal, I tried their selection of iced coffees, including the Oreo coffee, regular iced coffee and Biscoff iced coffee. They were really good and balanced out the pancakes nicely.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

It was a nice experience and was even better than when I attended their launch. The meal and coffee I had were really good. The staff were friendly, attentive and paid attention to details.
