The Room Café (Victoria Island)

The Room Café recently opened (soft launch) in Victoria Island, Lagos, I was in the area, so I thought to visit. It was definitely worth it, and the café is an ideal spot for brunch in Lagos and is brunch all day.
The space is small, but well-lit and nicely put together. The café also has a flower shop and a private room that sits about 30 people for events like bridal showers, birthdays, cooperate gatherings, etc.
MEAL
Their menu was simple. I felt that was great because they took into consideration what they know how to do best as opposed to a wide menu with half of menu not available.. They also had decent prices on the menu. I ordered the Buttermilk Chicken on Waffles – It was heavenly; the fried chicken was so good and piping hot, and it was so tasty. The eggs were done just as I had requested.
DRINKS
It was hot outside, so I got three drinks to quench my taste. First was the Vanilla Milkshake; it was nicely done and stayed frozen for a while. I enjoyed it.
I also had Fresh Orange Juice, but the selection of Oranges squeezed were a bit sour, so I tried the Apple Spritzer instead. The Spritzer was nicely presented and super tasty. It was what I called “sweet on the side”
My overall experience at The Room Café is a 9/10. I usually shy away from going to newly opened spaces, but this was so good I had to share. We recommend the Room Cafe for brunch in Lagos. I’ll be back for sure.
