I walked into Xplode Deli for lunch. I’ve been passing this area, but never really noticed this spot until recently. It was such a simple and cozy space.

MEAL

Their menu was quite affordable. I got Yam and Egg Sauce, and it was just too spicy and the eggs weren’t whisked properly as they didn’t blend with the spices. Some parts were too tasty than others. The yam was well cooked and soft. I believe they could have done better. Who messes up egg sauce?

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

The staff were really engaging and friendly. I don’t know if they felt pressured because of the camera and in a bid to impress, ruined the meal. It would have been better if it was spicy but whisked properly. Not sure I’ll be visiting again.
