Urban Fuxion

“To the Main Foodie

This is my review of Urban Fuxion, the popular food truck in Lagos.

My colleague and i stopped by the food truck on our way back to the office after a meeting. The meeting had lasted about 3 hours so we were extremely famished and UF was the first thing that came to mind.

I ordered the classic burger with a side of the potato and apple salad (at an extra cost of N150) and my colleague ordered the signature 10 piece chicken wings.

My burger was perfect! OMG , all the flavors and spices all went together. The beef patty was well done, the caramelized onions were amazing and the bread bun was fresh and soft! 10/10 for me. I decided to have the apple potato salad as i always have fries when i go there and i wasn’t disappointed at all. I didn’t realize that apple and potato could go down very well. Nicely mixed with lovely dressing and hint of spice (i wouldn’t advise this for my #fitfam people). Another 10/10 for me.

The signature wing piece my colleague had also did not disappoint which is very very usual for UF.

Bonus: the guys at the food truck are really nice. We asked for more fries and they indulged us after we complained that we had noticed that their fries had started reducing.

“Dining at Casa D’ Lydia is always a pleasant experience but today was exceptional. The service was on point, the food tasted nice and came on time and the bill wasn’t killing. Loll. All in all it was an awesome breakfast experience. Tip: Ask for the meal extra spicy if you’re into that extra chilly Taste”.
