Restaurant Review: Rye Restaurant Victoria Island

Rye Restaurant (Victoria Island) Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island |+234014482777|  Instagram The Foodie In Lagos team decided to head out for some good food and vibes after a whole year of creating mouthwatering content for you all. We love it though, so no complaints.  Rye Restaurant is located on Kofo Abayomi Street in Victoria Island, inside Nordic Hotel Lagos. It’s basically an “if you know, you know” spot. There’s no sign outside the space of the hotel, so it’s easy to miss. K missed it because she wasn’t sure if that was the hotel and had to ask a security […]

Korean Day, Woo Jung -우 정에서 한인의 날

Hi there! New week new post new foodiventure… lol So Princess of thatreofshunshine put me a social media blast and this post just had to come out asap because I already feel the pressure :). She had hit me up asking if I was down for some Korean food and I’m like ‘Yes please!!!” I had never had Korean food and a lot of times I always wondered what was the difference between Korean food and Chinese food. I mean, they are all of Asian descent right? Whenever I am in any restaurant and I see natives of the type […]

Restaurant Review: Red Lobster, Dubai Mall, UAE

Hello there! Hope you’ve had a chilled weekend. 🙂 I’ve always wanted to go to Red Lobster (“RL”) but for some reason, something always came up. So this time, I was on a mission not to leave Dubai without having some RL as I’m a big fan of sea food. Again, this was in a mall (Dubai Mall) and the set up was not bad too. Just before the major seating areas was a tank with Lobsters 🙂 and this really was the catch for me to have live lobsters that I could point and eat!

Restaurant Review: Las Iguanas, Westfield Mall, Stratford, London

Hi guys!! Apologies for FIL being away for a bit. Anyway, FIL is back and hopefully we stay and give you some good reviews on our foodieventures. Currently on holiday and decided to go on a foodieventure after shopping for hours and voila after a random selection, walked right into Las Iguanas. At first I was wondering if I would like the food there and then took a peek at the menu and went for it. Las Iguanas is a mixture of Mexican, Latin and Brazilian I believe as thats the message their menu passes across. Just before the food […]

Restaurant Review: Monsoon Bar & Restaurant, Accra Ghana

Hi there, Apologies for the irregular updates. This post is long overdue! I know the blog is called Foodie in Lagos and this review is for a restaurant in Accra. FIL is Global by the way *insert wink* I and a couple of friends were spending a few days in Accra and decided to have Dinner. Being such a sushi freak, I did my research and suggested Monsoon. This was not an easy find but it worked! It was my second time in Ghana and I had made it a point of duty to go on a foodie exploration. From […]
