The Smiths NG is one of the newest restaurants in Lagos, located in Victoria Island. If you know Maple Lagos and Cafeteria NG, you might recognize this new spot, as they are all co-owned by Kehinde Smith & Taiwo Smith. Taiwo Smith is also the executive chef.

I had the pleasure of attending the private tasting event for The Smiths NG Lagos opening last weekend and it was such a beautiful occasion. If you’re a fan of great vibes, delicious drinks, and a chic atmosphere, The Smiths is the place to be. As Lagos’ first cocktail room, it’s safe to say that The Smiths NG is a game-changer.

From the moment I stepped in, I was swept away by the intricate details that adorned the interior. The ambiance was just right – not too flashy, yet undeniably stylish. The bar area exuded a kind of charm that’s hard to find anywhere else. And can we talk about those custom toppers on the cocktails? Pure genius! It’s the little things like this that set The Smiths apart.

I had a tough time deciding from the menu, as there were so many options! They catered to every taste, offering classics and creative mixes that made my taste buds really happy. Plus, the live music in the background gave the evening an extra dose of soul, making the whole experience even more special. I captured some beautiful moments and shared it here.

The aesthetic of The Smiths was on point and the food? It tasted really great. I had to constantly remind myself not to eat too much, as I am currently on a calorie deficit diet:-D .
