A lot of times, we would think the award-winning meal would be Abula- Amala, Ewedu, Gbegiri, and Assorted meat of different shades, but have we ever thought of the life-saving bread or fav of all time – “Ewa”? Now, beans come in different categories; there’s Ewa Ibeji, Ewa Olomi, and the King of all, Ewa Agoyin. Ewa Agoyin has been saving lives forever. It goes with bread, and garri. Some people even take it with custard, again, the King of all meals.
In search to find the King of all meals, we came across Beans Palace in Alagomeji. The Beans selling empire has existed for years and is quite famous for its catchy aroma and successors chain. Amazingly, a lot of pregnant women confirmed this empire satisfied their cravings during their pregnancy season. Iya Emma’s Beans as popularly called by her customers has been confirmed the best of the best, so we took a trip to try it out.
OUR REVIEW
It is one of a kind; it did live up to the hype. Tai mentioned she used to eat from the spot when she was younger, and in her words -“I remember trying beans from this spot years ago, and the beans still live up to the hype. If you’re around yaba and happen to be craving beans, you should stop by. Just a heads up though, if you’ve got a sensitive stomach, you might want to be a bit cautious”. For us, we cannot get over it, and if we were to say it in Gen Z’s terms, we’d say “The beans was giving all that it should”. And yes, it was super affordable.
