It’s even worse when you are on an unpopular diet –like a plant-based one. Thankfully some plant-based snacks are simple to prepare, nutritious, and perfect for busy days –so you don’t have to resort to eating raw lettuce.
Made with oats, dates, and nuts, energy balls are easy to prepare and full of protein and healthy fats. Just blend dates, oats, and nuts and shape them into bite-sized balls. Refrigerate for a few hours and you are set!

If you have hummus sitting pretty in the fridge, pairing it with vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, and bell peppers provides you with a fiber-rich snack that surprisingly keeps you plenty full.
