Just Munchies is a small food spot located in Yaba. You can walk in to order and eat or have your order delivered. I stopped by in the afternoon. They had Ofada and Spaghetti, but I thought to try their fried rice, jollof rice, turkey, and small chops because it would be good to get a good feel of what they are. I also wanted to check if the myth of “as long as they make good Jollof, they make good everything” applies.
MEAL
The Jollof rice was decent, but it could have been better. The recipe could be tweaked to bring out more flavour and depth in the dish. On the other hand, the fried rice was quite tasty and had a nice blend of spices and seasoning. As for the turkey, it was okay. Lastly, the small chops were good.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
Overall, this is an affordable spot to get meals from if you’re ever around the Yaba axis. They also do catering services.
