As part of my London food adventures, I stopped by Ladurée London — the iconic Parisian café that embodies timeless charm, delicate sweets, and quiet sophistication. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I stepped straight into a royal tea room in the middle of Covent Garden and definitely one of the things to do in Covent Garden.
From the pastel interiors to the ornate detailing, every inch of the space whispers luxury. The gentle clinking of teacups and soft background chatter make it feel like you’ve stepped into an elegant daydream.

I started with their classic Afternoon Tea, a charming spread of pastries, scones, and mini bites. Classic, simple, and beautifully presented. The flavours were delicate and balanced. It felt like I was in the middle of a tea party, completely lost in the moment
The scallops were soft, buttery, flavourful, and perfectly plated. It was complemented by a smooth leek sauce that tied everything together beautifully.

This was one for the books, an elegant chocolate dessert that brought that signature French finesse. It was sweet and indulgent and it had that layered texture that made every forkful feel like a small celebration.
Now this… was the moment. The Chocolate Diva was hands down the highlight of my visit. It is basically a crunchy base made with chocolate and almonds, bourbon vanilla cream and chocolate mousse. It tasted rich and it melted so beautifully in my mouth, definitely a 10/10. If you ever visit Ladurée, please don’t leave without trying this.
You can’t go to Ladurée without trying their famous macarons. It’s like visiting Burger King without trying their burger. I went for a small assortment of two: delicate shells, light filling, and just the right chewiness. It was everything a macaron should be, and more.
Refreshing, crisp, and perfectly balanced. The apple twist gave it a nice fruity kick, perfect to cleanse your palate between bites
Smooth, lightly sweet, and served cold, a good way to end the meal on a relaxed note.
Ladurée London serves the kind of desserts that make you eat with your eyes before you even take a bite. Every plate is a masterpiece — thoughtful, delicate, and elegant. This visit reminded me that dessert isn’t just food; it’s a sensory experience.
