What is your Mantra?

Mantra Lagos, also called House of Heritage is a Pan-Asian Resto-Lounge in Victoria Island. I recently visited the space, and I loved it. I can’t wait for the restaurant to be fully opened so I can bring you update on the food and customer service. But the ambience is heavenly; their setup style is a show of the East Asian region with a modern style that portrays royalty.
Mantra has a couple of house rules, and I think it is to their advantage.
Rule 1: Picture taking is limited to your seat or space; this is because they don’t want inconveniences for other customers. Should I be worried? I don’t think so, lol. I rarely capture other diners in my frame anyways.
Rule 2: There is an outfit rule; this reminded me of Smalliez Diner. Back to it, Mantra is requesting that diners wear smart casual to dine, no flip flops. What do you think?
Let’s take a look at some ambience images before we talk about other things.
They were right to have termed the restaurant House of Heritage; this place feels like a secret hideout for diners looking for a blend of culture, great food, royalty, and relaxation. If you are in doubt, I got a better view of the space here. Don’t ask if I broke rule number 1; the restaurant wasn’t fully in service when I visited.
I didn’t forget about the menu; I uploaded it on the Menu Directory in case you need to check and make reservations ahead of the opening. Starting this weekend, Mantra Restaurant Lagos is open Tuesday – Sunday from 4 pm, but the lounge opens at 6 pm. Would you be visiting? Let me know here
