I checked out Suya Truck Lekki 1, and if you’ve been wondering whether it’s worth the stop, the answer is a loud yes. It’s super easy to locate because it’s in the same building as Ibile Foods & Akanke Alamala (in Lekki 1), and from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a good time.
Suya Truck has a beautiful outdoor space that feels inviting and relaxed. It’s the kind of spot where you can unwind, enjoy good grilled food, and soak in that Lagos evening breeze. It is the perfect open-air setup perfect for suya lovers.

These fries were actually loaded! Crunchy, well-seasoned, and impressively not soggy. It was a solid starter.
Juicy, flavour-packed, and the marinade went all the way in. It tasted even better with the Yaji pepper.
Simple, fresh, and delicious. The tacos were a pleasant surprise and a nice switch-up from the more traditional suya items
The fries were light, crisp, the Yaji Pepper added that extra kick, definitely not your regular fries. I absolutely loved the cute packaging.
The suya tasted really good, well-spiced, tender, and exactly what suya should be. No complaints; they did a fantastic job. Also, if you are one of those people who eat suya alone, try pairing it with onions and thank me later!
Suya Truck Lekki, serves the kind of grills that hit the spot without trying too hard, flavorful, well-marinated, and genuinely satisfying. It’s perfect for a chill evening out in Lagos, especially when you want good food in a relaxed outdoor setting.
It’s a spot I’ll definitely be returning to, and one I highly recommend if you love Suya done right.
