After doing the affordable meal challenge for Ikoyi (Cheap Eats Ikoyi). I decided to try out a cheap eats Yaba because it feels like that’s one place where something good comes out of Nazareth – which is a term for a place where you’d find great things when you least expect. Yaba is that spot, but to stay on course, let’s proceed with the affordable Meals Challenge second edition.
I started with Korede Spaghetti original and a bottle of water and which cost me ₦1,900. The spaghetti came with turkey and some sliced chunks of sausages in it. It was quite spicy and tasted nice. One down.
Second on the list for the affordable meals in Yaba challenge was a Suya Spot. I got five pieces of chicken for ₦1,000. It was delicious and well-seasoned. I didn’t like that it had a bit too much bone, aside from that, it was good.
I left out the fact that I had stopped at MallMart supermarket to get some pastries and a can of Ceres drink, that was my third spot. I spent ₦1,880 at this spot. So yes, the Yaba challenge has been executed.
