Botannika Lagos Summary
I finally made my way to Botannika Lagos for a long overdue foodie outing with my friend and let’s just say, it turned into a 4-hour yap session over food, drinks, and plenty of laughs.
Located in Ikoyi, this restaurant has been on my radar for a while. A quick glance at their online menu showed a fusion mix of Nigerian and international meals, so we went in with an open mind and a hungry stomach.
The interior is bright and inviting, with a mix of indoor, upstairs, and outdoor seating. Natural lighting did wonders for our pictures so yes, if you’re that friend who must get the perfect shot for IG, this place delivers.
Our total came to ₦105,000, but with VAT (7.5%) and service charge (10%) added, it shot up to ₦125,000. So yes, the experience is not exactly cheap but the portions were good, and we genuinely enjoyed ourselves.

The service was the standout aspect of my visit. The staff were polite, helpful, and professional throughout, which helped make up for the long wait. Their warm approach contributed positively to the experience.
The food was overall enjoyable (shoutout again to the desserts), and the staff were attentive and well-trained. We ended the meal with some tea, just to help us recover from all the eating. The vibe was great for a long catch-up, and we’d definitely go back to try more off the menu.
