Madam Glazes Cafe Lekki is one of the newest cafés in Lekki Phase 1 and the latest addition to the Glazes and Ganache family.
If you know that name, you already know the standard is not low. If your Lagos food timeline has been quiet lately, let me fix that for you. I visited with my foodie crew because there was absolutely no way I was doing this menu alone. And let me tell you: we still didn’t finish it!
Take a look at the taste test video at Madam Glazes and tell me this does not make you want to visit asap! We also did the best food Jitsu trend here as well – too good!!
Madam Glazes Cafe is small, intimate, and incredibly cute — but every single detail feels intentional. From the beautiful glassware to the marble tabletops, you can tell that a lot of thought went into the experience, not just the food. That, honestly, is rarer than it should be in Lagos.
Beyond the aesthetics, the space has a calm, unhurried energy that makes you want to stay. It photographs beautifully too — which, for content creators, is always a bonus.

This is not your average cafe menu. Madam Glazes Cafe Lekki is doing the most — in the best way possible. We are talking soufflé pancakes, waffles, bagels, brunch plates, wellness bowls, bubble teas, milk teas, iced coffees, frappes, desserts, fresh juices, and even Nigerian brunch options. Basically, all my favourite cafe finds from around the world, in one place right here in Lekki.
However, what truly sets Madam Glazes apart from every other cafe in Lagos right now is one specific thing: they are the only cafe in the city currently serving soufflé pancakes and they have the best iced teas in Lagos and Bagel variety
Before the food arrived, we were served warm complimentary bread rolls with sweet and savoury butter. That small detail set the tone for everything that followed — and it showed, immediately, that Madam Glazes cares about the full experience from start to finish.
If you have been wondering where to get Soufflé pancakes in Lagos, look no further! We had the Classic Cloud soufflé pancakes and the Berry Bliss version, which comes with cheesecake cream, crumble, and berry sauce. Light. Fluffy. Pillowy. And absolutely worth every bit of the hype. If you have been searching for soufflé pancakes in Lagos, your search ends right here at Madam Glazes Cafe Lekki.
Moreover, as I mentioned earlier, they are currently the only cafe in Lagos serving soufflé pancakes. That, in a city of a hundred new cafes opening every month, is a genuine point of differentiation.
I am not typically a chicken and waffle person, but for those who are, the buttermilk fried chicken at Madam Glazes Cafe is perfectly crispy, incredibly juicy, and the portion size is so generous that “generous” feels like an understatement.
We tried the smoked salmon bagel and the bacon, egg and cheese bagel. Listen carefully: that BEC bagel is a problem. The sauce alone deserves its own award. Every single bite was ridiculous in the best possible way. Furthermore, the presentation on the branded Madam Glazes plates made everything feel considered and deliberate — nothing here was an afterthought.
Loaded with eggs, toast, baked beans, avocado, sausages, mushrooms, and bacon — this was a proper, fully loaded brunch plate. It somehow disappeared from our table in minutes. That, I think, is the best possible review a breakfast plate can get.
Imagine the McDonald’s breakfast muffin you love, but fresher, bigger, and considerably better. That is exactly what the sausage, egg and cheese muffin at Madam Glazes Cafe is. That said, by this point in the meal, we should have stopped eating. We did not.

I personally believe Madam Glazes / Glazes and Ganache have the best iced teas in Lagos. When it was time for drinks, we first ordered the passion fruit iced tea at medium sweetness and it was so good. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and dangerously easy to finish.
Matcha-head approved by every matcha lover at our table. The strawberry and matcha combination worked beautifully — not too sweet, not too bitter, and visually one of the prettiest drinks on the table.
Dangerously good. The kind of drink you just keep reaching for without realising how quickly it disappears. If you like your iced coffee rich, sweet, and deeply satisfying, this one is for you.
The ginger is gingering. Strong, fresh, and exactly what you want from a proper ginger tea — served warm in a beautiful glass teapot with a candle underneath to keep it hot. A simple thing done very well.
Smooth, earthy, and well-balanced. The matcha lovers at the table gave this one a quiet nod of approval — which, if you know matcha people, is high praise.
The desserts were calling our names, and we simply could not say no. However, given what came next, I have absolutely no regrets.
The ramekin cookie skillet was easily the star dessert of the day at Madam Glazes Cafe. 10 out of 10. No notes. No notes at all.
Beyond that, the crumble custard pot with mixed berry crumble was outstanding. If you have ever been to Humble Crumble in London, you understand the level of excitement this one triggered. It was served warm, it was comforting, and it was absolutely delicious especially given the rain Lagos has been throwing at us lately.
The sticky toffee pudding was still really good. Interestingly, it would have been the highlight of the dessert section on any other day — but the ramekin cookie skillet told the whole story on its own and simply would not share the spotlight.
By the end of the meals we had at Madam Glazes Cafe Lekki, all four of us were completely defeated. Food coma was looming, takeaway boxes were necessary, and all I could think about was my bed. However, here is the thing, we still did not get through the entire menu. And that alone tells you everything you need to know.
Madam Glazes Cafe, you deserve your flowers. This is not just another pretty cafe in Lagos. It is thoughtful, exciting, and genuinely one of the best café openings I have experienced in a long time in Lagos. I will be back; specifically for the pastries, which apparently I have not even seen the best of yet.
