Tucked away in Lekki Phase 1, Flaky’s Kitchen is the kind of hidden spot you wish you’d found sooner. In this Flaky’s Kitchen Lagos review, I’m sharing why the servings are huge, the flavours are incredible, and why this Chinese restaurant is worth seeking out.
Located at 41 Adebayo Doherty Road, Lekki Phase 1, the restaurant may look unassuming from the outside, but step in, and it’s clear that everything here revolves around the food, and it does not disappoint.
Food
Now for the best part; the food. Here’s everything I tried:
Spicy Spare Ribs – Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavour, with just the right level of heat.
Steamed Pork Dumplings – Soft, hot, savoury, and honestly, no complaints at all.
Noodles with Mixed Meat – Saucy, meaty, and incredibly flavourful – comfort food at its best.
Special Fried Rice – A solid 10/10. Even the “small” portion was so large I couldn’t finish it.
Everything came out fast and piping hot, which made the experience even better. The portions are no joke. I couldn’t finish most of the dishes and had to pack them. A nice touch is that your food is packed right in front of you, which adds a bit of transparency and care to the service.
Our total spend came to ₦64,680, and honestly, every naira felt worth it.
Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and perfectly seasoned. The combination of spices, textures, and generous portion sizes makes this a spot where you can truly come hungry… and leave completely satisfied (with takeaway, of course).
While the restaurant itself is modest, the real charm is in the experience:
If you’re in Lekki and looking for a good Chinese restaurant, Flaky’s Kitchen is definitely one to add to your list.
FIL gives it a thumbs up so come hungry and leave happy!
