Meet Forno Lagos, the new pizza bar in town and the latest spot by the Smith Sisters, serving up seriously good pizza at Lekki Phase 1. I got an exclusive sneak peek at their private tasting, and honestly, every single bite was delicious. If you thought Lagos couldn’t get any hotter, think again because this spot is already popular.
The vibe at Forno Lagos is just too good. Cozy but stylish, with soft lighting, clean minimalist walls, and comfy black and striped pillows that make you feel right at home. The wooden tables, glassware, and a touch of greenery pull the whole space together.
It’s the perfect spot for a casual date night, a catch-up with friends, or even a solo pizza-and-mocktail kind of evening..
We kicked things off with their special canned cocktail- a spicy mango margarita and it was everything. The perfect balance of heat and sweetness in that first sip already had me sold.
Next up was the Garlic Share & Tear. This one was a standout. Fresh, flavorful, and the cheese pull? Woo! It was absolutely beautiful and it tasted just as good. Then came the fried mozzarella bites, it was crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Total crowd-pleaser. One of those bites you just keep reaching for without even thinking.

Now, let’s talk about the Panuozzi – a wood-fired chicken sandwich served on pizza bread. The flavors were seriously off the charts, and the bread had that perfect smoky, wood-fired char. If you’re a sandwich lover, you need this in your life.
And you already know- anything mango, just count me in. I grabbed another mango mocktail, and it was a hit.
Now for the main event: the pizza! It was amazing. We tried the Hot Honey Diavola and the Swiss Truffle Mushroom pizza, and honestly, these are my favorites on the menu at Forno Lagos. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside – pizza dreams, basically. The Swiss Truffle Mushroom was rich, gooey, and melted beautifully, while the Hot Honey Diavola had that perfect sweet-meets-spicy kick. Absolutely delicious!

Just when we thought we couldn’t eat any more, dessert landed on our table – a bomboloni Nutella ganache pizza with fresh strawberries. It was indulgent, simple, and so good. The perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal.
The best part? The prices at Forno are super affordable! I checked the menu and had a whole “wow wow wow” moment. Everything tasted amazing and the vibe was just right, I’m definitely coming back with my friends.
So if you’re looking for a new pizza spot in Lekki or a fresh place to hang with your people, Forno (@forno.ng on Instagram) should be at the top of your list. See the menu for Forno here
