I took the advice of a couple of you and decided to try the Abula at this spot. If you visit, be prepared for queues – whether it’s for Amala, gbegiri, stew, ewedu, proteins, or even at the payment counter.
MEAL
The place is quite cramped and hot, so I don’t recommend dining in. Moving on to what I ordered; the Amala was well made with almost no lump in sight. The stew was quite spicy but not flavorful, it tasted like plain pepper. Overall, it was an average meal. I can’t help but wonder if this is truly the best Lagos has to offer.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE
Another underwhelming Amala experience, now I am wondering if the good abula days are behind me. Where can I visit to make up for all of these?
