Review: Chow Noodle Bar, Lekki

I decided to have a quick lunch at the Chow Bar Noodle located at the Eterna Filling Station, Jakande after seeing their sponsored ads on Instagram. It is a kiosk located on the left side of the filling station. It has stools in front of the kiosk where customers can sit, and there is a see-through glass so one can see how the meal is being prepared. The kiosk was a bit dirty, I guess this was caused by the exhaust from the filling station.
MEAL
I had the Lunchtime Combo, which included a Hot Box (you can choose either rice or noodles (regular), 2 pcs Asian BBQ Wings, and a bottle of Pulpy Juice. I opted for the noodles, but now I wish I picked rice. They stated that the wait time was 20 minutes (which was long for the noodles which turned out to be undone), and it eventually took 30 minutes. The noodles were not well cooked; I could taste the dough used to bake the pasta. The soy sauce and the other spices were a little too much for the noodles, so it was over-spiced. On the other hand, the Asian wings were juicy and delicious. For the drink, the waiter stated that pulpy was not available as stated on the menu, so I had to settle for other soda options (Fanta, Sprite, Coke).

OVERALL EXPERIENCE
I had high hopes for the meal, but it was a flop. Other things to note, it is an outdoor space so brace up for the smell of fuel and the movement of cars. Parking was available, but there was no security guard on-site at first, so I had to be security conscious.
