After a long time of not visiting Clay, I obeyed my cravings and stopped by. It was definitely worth it as their products are still as good as I remember. Their space remains simple and lovely with no dine in spot.
MEAL
I ordered one bottle of Tigernut Milk, Masa and Balangu Suya to go. There are other varieties of local/northern food/snacks/drinks and they also have a suya stand. The Tigernut was very milky and rich. I could tell it was freshly made. The Masa was hot, fluffy, light yet very filling and I paired it with yaji pepper, my goodness, it was an absolute delight! The Balangu was very tender and well seasoned. It was indeed a feast.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
I enjoyed my meal and would definitely become a regular. The staff were very cheerful and friendly. It was a nice place to be. If you’re a fan of Northern food or snacks, you should definitely visit Clay Food Shop.
