I visited this new cute spot in Victoria Island called Smalliez Diner, which serves an all-day brunch and I was impressed. It is a building with three floors and a light blue-themed space with beautiful inscriptions on the wall. I think it is still in soft launch, but it is worth a visit; the blue theme reminded me of the blue box café in New York City. The space is so beautiful; I know I have said that a bit too much.
The space is gorgeous; I can’t get over the music bits on the walls and the Vespa bike I rode on. The beauty of the space is stuck in my head.
Pancake Taco Trip: I didn’t know pancakes could taste this good. This meal was thought of before getting placed on the menu; all the fillings in the pancake were well-seasoned. I loved all the fillings; the bacon, prawns, and chicken were delivered brilliantly.
The Waffle and Duck: The waffles’ consistency was different than usual Belgian waffles, and it was a cake dough. The pancake trio was perfect; the duck meat was well-seasoned, and the egg was delicious.
Mango x Passion Smoothie: Mango smoothie never tasted so good; it was really good.
Blueberry Daiquiri: Mwah! Not many places do a blueberry daiquiri, but this was good. I wish it was soft serve, as stated in the menu, but that wasn’t up and running yet, so definitely something to try next time.
The wait staff were also so pleasant and understood the menu; it was so impressive to see, you could tell that training was thorough. I would definitely visit again with friends, I really can’t get over the experience.
