I decided to do another visit to Toast Coffee and Bites by Eko Hotel with my partner; it was good as new. I mentioned that I would visit again, so I did and decided to try something different this time.

MEAL

My partner had the egg benedict and crushed avocado; he wanted the eggs not runny, but they didn’t get the full brief, so the eggs were semi-solid and not so bad. It tasted good, as always.

I ordered the English breakfast. I had before, but I didn’t document it. This meal comes with complimentary juice and eggs of your choice. I went with a sunny side up. The sausage could be replaced with fish or chicken. My replacement was chicken though I did not like it the first time I had it because it was dry – others may like it, but dry chicken isn’t my thing. The mushrooms and hash browns were fresh and delicious; I wish I had more portions.

DRINK

For the drink, I had the Frappuccino again – the flavor was caramel, and it was lovely, like the first time. I also had the hot chocolate which was so nice and served differently from how typical other restaurants do theirs. You can check our Instagram page for the video or Tik Tok.

We tried the red velvet milkshake, but we didn’t quite like the texture, so we asked for it to be switched to an Oreo cookie milkshake which was much better.

DESSERT

For dessert, we shared a tower of layered pancakes with cream, ice cream, and strawberries.

My overall experience at Toast by Eko Hotel this time is an 8/10. That is because they didn’t pay attention to details of how the meals we ordered would have been preferred.
