You know those days when you’re not quite sure what you’re craving, but you just want good vibes, chill energy, and food that won’t disappoint? That’s how I found myself at Salt & Social Lagos, hoping to stumble into something delicious without overthinking it.
The location? Solid. The space? Trendy and laid-back. It’s giving: post-work hangout, casual date night, or weekend catch-up with your gist partner. You walk in and instantly get that easygoing, “we’re just here to vibe” energy—which honestly, Lagos needs more of.
Salt & Social sits comfortably on 2a Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, and has that effortless cool that doesn’t try too hard. The music is upbeat but not overpowering, the lighting is soft but Insta-worthy.
The space is stylish without being intimidating, just a good-looking room with enough space to lounge, laugh, and eat without feeling rushed. 10/10 for ambience.

We kicked things off with the beef tacos and listen… soft shell, juicy filling, well-seasoned. I was impressed. They were flavourful, held together well and gave a good intro to the menu. Would I order again? Absolutely.
Then came the chicken pops and unfortunately, that’s where the vibe dipped. They just didn’t taste fresh like they’d taken a few too many spins in the microwave. No crunch, no flavour, just… meh. Honestly? Skip them.
Thankfully, the prawn linguine came through with a little redemption. The pasta was cooked nicely and the prawns weren’t stingy. It wasn’t a life-changing plate, but it held its own. A solid 7/10.
But the real MVP? The UFO burger. When I tell you this burger was JUICY? Flavourful, saucy, messy in the best way. You know that moment when you take the first bite and you already know it’s going to slap? That was this burger.
Finally, dessert. And let me just say, they closed on a high note with the French toast and ice cream. Soft, fluffy bread, warm and slightly crisp on the edges, paired with a scoop of ice cream that just melted right into it. It smelled amazing. It tasted even better. A sweet ending, literally.
Salt & Social is definitely a spot I’d revisit but with a game plan. Some dishes work. Some don’t. But the good ones? Really hit. And for a casual hangout in Lekki, it’s a solid option.
Would I go back? Yeah, I would. Probably for the burger, a cocktail, and that French toast.
