I would say it is definitely time to start a new food adventure. Hey Foodies, next on my food adventure list are shawarma spots in Lagos.
For starts, this spot popped up a couple of times in the comments as suggestion to be reviewed and I listened. I stopped by the Surulere branch for their shawarma. I would say the staff were very friendly and cheerful. The space was neat, well air conditioned and cute. I opted for their double chicken, double sausage with cheese which took about 10 minutes. The shawarma had a good balance of meat and veggies, the filling was very generous, spicy, and creamy, the chicken was soft, but I was disappointed by the sauce; it wasn’t well seasoned. I wouldn’t recommend dining in because there are no tables to eat and that would leave you struggling with everything in your hands.

Next, I stopped by this food stand in Akoka, Yaba. I tried out their shawarma which was quite good and affordable. The shawarma was nicely toasted, though the sauce leaned a bit on the sweeter side. Still, it was really creamy and quite good overall. It is definitely worth checking out if you’re around there!

I had also seen a tweet about a shawarma spot in Lekki, I decided to go check it out. It wasn’t the best, but it was filling. I must mention that the wrap was properly toasted and the sauce was authentic.
