Yellow Chilli Lagos is located in the heart of Ikeja GRA, Lagos. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting this nice spot, as I was craving hot swallow, and I was pleasantly surprised by what it had to offer.

When I got to Yellow Chilli Lagos, I was instantly amazed by how beautiful and peaceful it looked. The restaurant has a classy and lovely interior, making it feel cozy and inviting. Wait, there’s more! It also has a calm outdoor area, which is just perfect for relaxing or getting some work done.

One of the standout features of Yellow Chili Lagos is its serene outdoor setting, surrounded by nature’s beauty. It’s rare to find such a tranquil oasis in the bustling city of Lagos, and it effortlessly manages to capture the essence of relaxation and enjoyment.

MEAL
Now let’s talk about the best part – the food! I decided to try the Seafood Okra, which was reasonably priced and came with a choice of any swallow, I opted for Pounded yam. Let me tell you, the dish was simply amazing! It had two big prawns and fish, all cooked perfectly. Every bite left me wanting more. My heart silently prayed for the hands that pounded the swallow mid-meal, that’s how good the texture was.

DRINK
To complement the meal, I ordered a glass of medium-sized Chapman. The refreshing drink was just what I needed to wash down the delicious food. As an added bonus, the restaurant graciously served complimentary peanuts, which was a thoughtful touch.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE
Yellow Chili Lagos overall dining experience left a lasting impression on us, earning an impressive 8/10 rating. The wait time was reasonable, with our food arriving within 20 minutes of placing the order. The waiters were exceptionally polite and friendly, ensuring that we felt comfortable throughout our visit.
