234 Restaurant Lekki is a resto-lounge that has amazing space with good ambiance. I went on a food adventure to the location; it wasn’t what I expected, but the Jollof rice was a great consolation.

For starters, there was an issue with the air conditioner. I was hot and sweaty for the most part of the adventure. Like that wasn’t enough, most of the meals on their menu wasn’t available, and they had no dessert. But there was a good twist.

MEAL

I ordered the Jollof rice and wings. The wait time was 30 minutes. While I waited, I got bread rolls and coconut shavings as complementary. It tasted great compared to other restaurants.

When my food arrived, I understood why the wait time was that long. The Jollof rice was heavenly, it was giving the vibes of homemade party Jollof. The wings tasted nice and were very spicy. I also got fries on the side. The fries were crispy outside, and soft inside. The food was amazing.

DRINK

I got the Mojito Cocktail. It didn’t hit the right spot, it tasted more like a virgin mojito. It certainly could have been better. I also got bottled water, of course, it was fine. Lol, no special recipe is needed.

Overall experience for me is a 7/10. Good customer service, polite staff, and tasty Jollof rice. I would go again for the Jollof rice.
