You should already know by now that I am a pasta lover –and you should be too, since you clicked this link. But, before we delve into the restaurants where you can enjoy some of the best pasta that Lagos has to offer, here are some facts about pasta that you almost certainly did not know.
A Few Things You Didn’t Know About Pasta
We’ll kick open the list with our most budget-friendly mentions, in case you just want to enjoy some tasty pasta without selling your kidney. At this price range, don’t expect creamy pasta though.

ou cannot mention “pasta”, “best” and “affordable” and not mention Korede Spaghetti. The main pasta here is Spaghetti (it’s right there in the name) and when paired with their grilled Turkey, the combo slaps hard. They also have other things on the menu, but since today is about Pasta, we’ll skip them.
The most amazing part is that you can enjoy food here without exceeding the 5k mark.
Again, you should pair your spaghetti with Turkey here too. Unlike Korede Spag, their main service is barbeques, but they make a mean plate of Spaghetti which is totally worth the price of being under 5k.
If you are willing to spend a little more , then these places are for you.
The Harvest in Lekki Phase One Lagos.
Just sprinkle a little more money and you get a few more types of pasta open to you. Their pasta menu includes Pesto pasta, Chicken Parm, Spaghetti Bolognese and Seafood pasta (though the seafood pasta does not have a lot of seafood). You can have a nice time here with about 10k-15k.
The Linguini Alfredo with Chicken and roasted bell peppers here is something to write home about. Sure, that meal alone will take almost 11k and you may be tempted to pair it with wine that could pay your house rent, but their pasta menu here is more than just spaghetti. However, if you get confused, try the Smoke Lamb Ravioli.
We talked about La taverna in our post about affordable fine dining in Lagos. If you are down for not just the most authentic tasting Italian pasta but the detailed ambiance of an Italian restaurant, then Shiro is your best choice mio amico.
If you have not tried the seafood scampi at Sabor, then drop all your doing and head on there now –you won’t regret it as a pasta lover. And they are not a one trick pony, they also have two other pasta options in their menu.
Hans and Jones
Still in the fancy tier, Hanes and Jones serves a very tasty smoked guinea fowl pasta –but you may call me biased since I love anything with guinea fowl.
You can’t have the “best” and “pasta” without adding the cliff’s Penne Chicken Alfredo, it’s creamy, delicious and not nauseating.

Whether you have it in a local restaurant, or you have it in a 5-star place, pasta is pasta. Just make sure that you are not eating in any place where they break their pasta. That is a crime. Also –and this goes without saying– use a fork to twist and enjoy.
