Hey Foodies, are you making plans for this valentines on a budget? Not to worry, we’ve been exploring for you. We have compiled an interesting list of cheap date ideas in Lagos. Let us know which of these you’d be trying.
Food truck stand: If you are looking to eat out at an affordable price, you can try food stands around Lagos. Here are some options; Domtom food stand in Surulere, Foodie Naija in Wole Cresent. You could also try any of the food stand in Tejuosho mall. The budget should be ₦4,000 – ₦7,000.
Ferry ride: The city of Lagos is beautiful, and you can see a new reality from the water. If you ever want to catch a ferry ride, try the Bariga terminal or Lagos island terminal. The rides go as far as Ojo and Badagry. If you are looking to explore local communities, try the Makoko canoe ride. You would even see market men and women with stores making exchanges on water. Your budget for this should be around ₦5,000 – ₦7,000.
Window shopping: (We heard that laughter) you are right; we are asking you to do this in Lagos. While you can walk into any store, it is advised you let the attendant know beforehand that you are window shopping. Budget free.
Home Spa: All you need are candles, charcoal or cucumber face masks, nail remover, polish, and file. You will need a comfy couch to rest your back or whatever works for you. You could add some peanuts and juice to make the process enjoyable for Bae.
Wine and Cookies: For this, all you need is a bottle of wine of your choice and some cookies. Play some much in the background and enjoy.
