TGIF!!! Friday is my best day of the week and with each ending week, we are excited about the month of May.
The month of May is an exciting one and the weekends are a hit back to back! We sent out a newsletter yesterday and some of you already know the gist. Should you not want to miss out, you can subscribe here to get updates first hand.
On that note, we are gastronomically delighted to announce the GTBank Food & Drink Fair Weekend which is proudly supported by Foodie in Lagos as one of the partners for the event. It is going to be a culinary delight which you shouldn’t miss.
Scheduled for the 1st and 2nd of May, 2016 at the Landmark Village, Oniru, the 2-day event is designed to showcase Nigeria’s emerging food industry as well as offer a wide variety of cuisines, such that attendees will be able to taste their way around the world – Awesome!
The event is headlined by two acclaimed international chefs; Ethiopian born and Swedish raised Marcus Samuelsson and Nigerian born Raphael Duntoye. Masterclasses by Nigerian professional chefs such as Chef Fregz, Chef Alex, Tiyan Alile, Iquo & Atim Ukoh (they are having a Mother and Daughter Cook off!) and others will be happening as well. We’ll be sure to share the scoops on some of the over 80 food and drinks vendors in Lagos later on our social media pages – Instagram, Twitter & Facebook so so stay close 🙂
The event is free to attend but guests are encouraged to register here (lowkey -you get something special for doing so). There will be wine tasting, food sampling and lots more.
Be sure to follow @foodieinlagos on Instagram and the hashtag #GTBankFoodDrink as we share more updates on this event and more food events to come. The Food & Drink Fair is powered by GTBank.
