Kapadocia Restaurant Abuja, is a Turkish cave-themed restaurant located at Wuse 2, Abuja which also has a location in Lagos. The restaurant is really beautiful and that won me over. The vibe is calm and a bit romantic I’d say, the whole cave idea was giving.
I really love the design of the restaurant interior. The colorful lights in the restaurant as you can see from the pictures also add life to the cave theme and just ties everything together. There is also a beautiful bar situated on the top floor of the restaurant. Kapadocia restaurant in Abuja has two floors by the way…
Also situated on the top floor is a beautiful love nest that I just imagine would be perfect for date night! See the picture to get what I mean.
Ambiance of this restaurant has an 8/10 for me😍
This was my second restaurant visit of the day so I didn’t do too much with the food. I ordered the Spicy Lamb Curry with a side of Pilaf Rice which cost ₦11,000. This was honestly an underwhelming dish. The rice was a bit too chewy and I didn’t like that about it. The Spicy Lamb Curry was not spicy and I really didn’t understand that, LOL it’s literally in the name.
The Lamb was tender but the sauce could have been better seasoned in my opinion. The whole dish just wasn’t great to be honest. I’d give this dish a 4/10 and I’m being a bit nice because I loved the space 😂.
Overall, I’d give my experience at Kapadoccia Restaurant Abuja a 6/10.
The service delivery wasn’t that great as some of the members of staff were a bit stand-offish and I found that strange. The waiter that attended to me personally was polite though. The wait time was reasonable, my food came in about 30 minutes max but like I said before, the food was of underwhelming considering how thrilled I was about the space itself. Let’s just say the restaurant space here did more for me than the actual food.
Total spend here was ₦15,075 including water, takeaway pack, and VAT.
