This is for the Lagos Mainlanders; we found and tried some local bars around Yaba where you can get pepper soup and drinks. These places are suitable for a visit late at night after work, to watch a football game, or hangout with friends or Islander visiting your zone. Of course, we tested and reviewed them for you. 1. L’bule Bar located at 26 Carter Street– L’bule bar is a local bar in Adekunle. The bar has about four televisions that shows football match during the season. They have sitting space to fit about 50 people and enough staff to attend to everyone. They serve foods like garnished noodles, rice, nwkobi, and fish and meat pepper soup. The price of pepper soup ranges from ₦3,000 to ₦8,000 depending on what you want in it. You can make payment with POS here. We rate the pepper soup from here 2 stars. The service delivery is 4/5.
2. Safari Bar in Panti, Adekunle– Safari Bar is another local bar where you can hang out with friends and get pepper soup on the mainland. There is no television at this spot, but there is music. It is an open space that fits about 20 -25 people. It is located on the street that leads to the expressway after Panti Police Station, Adekunle. The price of pepper soup here starts from ₦1,500; that’s the package that comes with turkey. The package that comes with full catfish and yam costs ₦2,500. You can get any type of drink here. We rate this pepper soup 3 stars. Note, you need to carry cash here, they don’t have POS or take transfers. The service delivery here is 3/5.
3. O’Fine Kitchen and Bar– This spot is at number 12 Little Road located between St.Agnes and Sabo; it could be difficult to locate without clear directions. But the bar is quite popular, so you can always ask. It is a space that can fit 30 people; there is a space indoor with television and music blast. They also do live shows on some Fridays, heads up, it could get rowdy sometimes. They serve catfish pepper soup and other types of fish pepper soup. They also serve asun and any type of drink. The pepper soup here is a 4-star. The service delivery is 2/5, and the owner and staff get saucy at times. You can pay with POS here, the price ranges from ₦1,300 to ₦2,500.
