22 Bistro in Ikeja is a food shack that serves breakfast meals, grills, wraps, and Nigerian meals. It’s a small space by the road. Contrary to their social media, which says there’s space to dine in, there isn’t.

When I asked if there was a space I could eat, I was shown a small table by the road. I went there with the intention to try their “Chilli Beef Tacos” and “Singapore Noodles”. Unfortunately, the bread for the tacos wasn’t available and because there was no sitting area, I had to opt for a chicken sandwich.

MEAL
CHICKEN SANDWICH
The sandwich was filled with lettuce, shredded chicken, and cream. It was okay, nothing spectacular. I would have liked it if the bread was toasted a bit more; it would have been extra crunchy. The cream base had a little chili in it. It was a 5/10 for me.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
My dine-in happened so fast. If 22 Bistro didn’t describe itself as a dine-in space, maybe my rating would be better. I went there hoping to try two dishes, but that couldn’t happen as there was no seating area. I don’t know if I will be back. This food adventure was a 5/10 for me.
